Hi - I'm Harriet - designer, maker and marketeer from Sputnik Jewellery!  I run my business from my workshop in Weston-super-Mare.  I design and make silver, copper and brass jewellery, with a genuine focus on using upcycled metals and unusual found or upcycled materials as an alternative to mined gemstones.

That said you will see gems in my jewellery, but I only use ethically sourced material.

I've been around jewellery most of my life as my lovely late dad was a talented silversmith in his day and continues to inspire my work.

You will see a lot of influences of the modern world in my jewellery - I'm inspired by industrial landscapes, urban decay and finding beauty in weird and wonderful places.

However, you may notice other influences as, like every artist, I am always seeing patterns and new inspirations as I walk through the world.
